A: Broch was founded in 1996 to assist clients with the internet, databases, marketing and application development, and other aspects of technology management. 

Q: What is a "Broch"?
A: Back in Autumn 1996, when the time came to pick a name for the company, we discussed quite a few names. We finally settled on the name "Broch" (pronounced "brok", with the Scottish "ch" as in "loch") by picking the name of a type of local ancient monument in the area where we live, Caithness in the far North of Scotland.

We have since found out many more things out about Broch's, what they are, where they are and who built them. But that's another story!
